An employee at a selected business location registers to take the Eco Carolinas Certification Assessment Survey. The employee and the business location must be in North or South Carolina.
The Survey includes questions about recycling, waste reduction, office/building environmental awareness and business-to-business processes. Over 100 activities are covered. Questions require a “Yes” or “No” answer.
Each question is weighted. “Yes” answers are added as you take the Survey. “No” answers receive zero points. Questions answered “No” are saved and you may return at any time and update your Survey responses.
Points are added to move you toward the following Eco Carolinas Certification Status:
0 points to 59 points = No Status
60 points to 79 points = Partner Status
80 points to 89 points = Leader Status
90 points and higher = Champion Status
